Meet the Authors & Illustrator

Anuradha Gupta
Anuradha Gupta (she/her) is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner (CAP) and Ayurvedic Doctor (BAMS), combining a background in engineering, MBA, and corporate leadership with her deep knowledge of Ayurveda. She is a faculty member and mentor at Kerala Ayurveda USA, where she trains and guides future Ayurvedic practitioners.
Her personal Ayurveda practice, Ayurvedic Footprints, has been serving clients since 2018, offering consultations, wellness coaching, and educational content. Anuradha is also a prolific writer, contributing to Kerala Ayurveda, Art of Living, Sri Sri Tattva, and the Art of Living Retreat Center.
Her writing extends beyond Ayurveda—she has authored The Green Dragon, a book on environmental awareness for teens in India, and contributed stories to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
Anuradha’s passion for social justice and sustainability runs deep. She actively volunteers with Art of Living, Project Welcome Home Troops, WWF, BSA, and PFLAG, advocating for wellness, environmental conservation, and equality.
Living in California with her husband, two children, and beloved cats, Anuradha continues to share Ayurveda’s transformative power with the world.

Ashish Pandya (he/him) is a leading expert in Ayurveda, a certified stress management teacher, and an advocate for holistic wellness. As a founding member and Vice President of Education at Shankara Inc., an Ayurveda-inspired skincare and wellness brand, Ashish has played a crucial role in reviving and sharing Ayurvedic wisdom worldwide.
With over 21 years of experience, he has conducted thousands of workshops, training over 100,000+ therapists in Ayurvedic principles and self-care techniques. He has been instrumental in growing Shankara from a small startup in Colorado to a multinational brand in 27+ countries.
Before diving into Ayurveda full-time, Ashish worked in network security, managing operations in 10+ European countries and earning the President’s Award for his excellence.
